Zipper or no zipper?
That is the question. After many disputes about it I decided to go against all objections because this cardi just yelled out for the zipper. I ´m not the biggest zipper fan for knit and crochet cardigans but this time I stand by my decision! I love it!

Sorry guys!
I hate to brake it to you, I started hating the June project and decided to throw it in a bag and start a new one. I´m not making the sweater I´m wearing in the Knit police…. I´m saving it til later. BUT the new one is awesome!!!…. Sorry Arndís, I know you told me to hang in there but I just could not have it in front of my face for a second longer!

An extremely exciting month…. I love using my stash, because I have an awesome stash, the first issue of The Knit Police is ready and we have a Knitting festival weekend ahead of us 🙂 🙂 🙂
The best part though is…. wait for it….. I´m wearing the June cardigan in the first issue of The Knit Police!

Comics and crochet
Things are looking so good this month, I got a sneak peak of Arndís´s dress on her snapchat (arndisprjon)… It´s awesome. I´m right behind her finishing the collar on my cardigan 🙂 🙂 🙂 … I have also been busy practicing my comic drawing, which gives me the same zen state as crocheting. Here´s a little strip with me and Arndís…

Tired teacher syndrome
I´m almost finished with both sleeves and I´m already thinking which colors to use in my next May cardigan, I´m loving it so much. I´m a bit empty of words right now, it´s the time of the year the tired teacher syndrome shows it self. All the comics you have seen of teachers fresh in the fall and grumpy at spring are true…
Do I need help?
I have been asked two times today if it’s possible I need to get help with my yarn-crochet-knit obsession! I’m just gonna leave it here with you guys. B.t.w. my cardigan is going perfectly… Body ready and two cuffs. I also made a little self portrait after going to my local yarnshop this week.
Crochet is the new knit!
I must admit, this month is going super, super good! I have already bought yarn and started a cardigan I can´t wait to wear. The yarn is to die for and the best thing of all is…….. it´s all crochet!!! (At least for now) … I´m sorry but I don´t have a sketch to show you, it´s all in my head but I can tell you that every time I walk by my Crochet chair (I´m not calling it a knit chair any more, but that´s a story for another time) my face is like… (this gif is from giphy)

Feeling awkwardly excited!
I just finished washing and blocking my sweater!!! Waiting impatient for Saturdays ridiculously exciting photo shoot ( in my head at least 🙂 ).
Happy first day of summer!
OMG I´m back home and it´s actually not that bad (liar, liar, pants on fire). Don´t get me wrong, I love Iceland and everything in it but can you seriously stop this constant heavy wind and decide for a moment if it´s going to be raining, snowing, blowing or something else! For example, to day is the first day of summer, which I have never understood why it´s in April, and it has been windy, snowy, sunny and cold, all at the same time.
The good thing about it the first day of summer is that it´s a national holiday and I get to spend it in my knitting chair 🙂 . My April sweater is almost finished, I only have 2/3rd of a sleeve left and as I promised, here are some photos from my trip to Riga.
